Stephen John Hall LL.B Hons - DIRECTOR
Director, Solicitor and Head of Private Client Department and Civil Department
Stephen qualified as a solicitor in 1988 and is currently Head of the Private Client Department involved in General Probate Administration, preparation of Wills, Lasting Power of Attorneys and Deputyship applications to the Court of Protection. Stephen also has a particular interest, and has many years’ experience, both in Civil, Personal Injury including asbestos related claims and contested Inheritance Act disputes. Stephen is also a member of the Solicitors for the Elderly Group (SFE). Stephen is also chairman of the Crownhill Village Networking Group who strive to promote businesses and address concerns of local residents and businesses within the Crownhill and surrounding area.
Specialising in Residential and Commercial property matters, Michael has expertise in dealing with freeholds, leaseholds and tenancies, flats, shops, small businesses, building plots, rights of way and other interests of land. He also deals with private client matters and is well known and well respected in the local community, having clients he has provided legal services to for many years.
Michael has a considerable breadth of experience in legal practice qualifying as a solicitor in 1986 and was a director at Evans Harvey until 2013.In his spare time Michael enjoys playing golf (when he has the time) and spending time with his grandson and family.
JANET HUTCHINGS LL.B (Hons)
Solicitor and Head of the Family Department
Janet is an experienced family law solicitor, who qualified in 1993 and has since specialised exclusively in family law. She offers advice on all areas of family law on the breakdown of relationships to include divorce and separation, financial settlements, children matters, injunctions and cohabitation disputes as well as in relation to cohabitation and marital agreements. Although Janet is focused on reaching negotiated settlements and achieving early solutions wherever possible, she has considerable litigation experience, having had cases in both the High Court and the Court of Appeal.
She is on the Law Society Advanced Family Panel (the higher tier of the Family Panel) and is a member of Resolution which is committed to reducing conflict and trying to resolve disputes. In her spare time, Janet enjoys spending time with her children, family and friends and walking the family pug.
